There is little question that the White Lightning WL Series monolights have been the most successful and most imitated self-contained studio flash units in the history of man. With a weight of only 3.25 lbs, the WL 10,000 is a powerful, yet extremely light-weight monolight. Designed for quick and easy setups, this self contained flash unit has a built-in l5' power cord which plugs into standard l20VAC outlets. With 240 wattseconds at it’s full power setting the
WL 10,000 has a recycle time of 3 seconds and a flash duration of l/1500 second. Ratio lighting can easily be achieved with power settings of "Full", “2/3”, and "l/3". Voltage regulated circuitry and a precision modeling system give you consistently accurate exposures and "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" previews. It's built-in 7" 60" reflector can easily be fitted with LiteMod accessories, softbox attachment, or umbrellas.
